The Ansaloni Building Cooperative was founded in 1948 with the aim of satisfying the needs of the home of its Members through the assignment of housing in permanent or temporary enjoyment. The Ansaloni Cooperative has over 11,000 members and has built and assigned about 7,000 homes in Bologna and its province.
Social Responsibility directs the activities and the mission of the Cooperative, with the aim of creating houses in free areas or with agreements, in respect of social and environmental sustainability.
The Ansaloni Cooperative designs its activities through cooperative principles and values, directing its actions according to the needs of citizens, and supporting social needs with actions aimed at facilitating the path to a new home.
The Ansaloni Cooperative places transparency at the center of its work and draws up a sustainability report, which is currently in line with the sustainability objectives of the UN 2030 Agenda. In 2007 it adopted a Code of Ethics, renewed, updated and approved by the Shareholders’ Meeting in May 2018.
Through the Oviv Foundation, Ansaloni deals with the promotion of culture, support for youth initiatives and the involvement of people at a social disadvantage.
