Coop Reno is a Consumer Cooperative born in 1988. Today it has 43 points of sale distributed in Emilia-Romagna (in the provinces of Bologna, Ferrara and Ravenna) and in Veneto (in the province of Rovigo); it has over 90,000 consumer members and 800 employees for an annual sales turnover of over 168,000,000 euros of which over 71% is made by the members of the Cooperative. These are the numbers of a coverage that is located in the towns of the Emilian plain and in the upper Tuscan-Emilian Apennines with a slope in the Po delta. In a scenario where there are more and more supermarkets competing for the lowest price and the number of sales, Coop Reno wants to differentiate itself because, in addition to the commercial aspect, it is committed to hitting its goals of distinction. The cooperative is part of the community and contributes to improving its material, moral and cultural conditions by collaborating with the school, with cultural and scientific institutions, and with the world of volunteering. Contributing as a cooperative to achieving sustainable development at a territorial level is one of the distinctive features of the cooperative.
